Paramore ‘My Hero’
Beautiful cover of the ‘Foo Fighters’ song, pity they couldn’t have found a better video though:
Charlie Rose, Alistair Horne, Henry Kissinger, Algeria and Iraq
Rather interesting (if somewhat long and occasionally disjointed) hour’s worth of talking heads…
Chinese sub ‘walks into’ the centre of U.S Naval operation
Well this makes the odds a bit better for the Chinese anyway:
The lone Chinese vessel slipped past at least a dozen other American warships which were supposed to protect the carrier from hostile aircraft or submarines.
And the rest of the costly defensive screen, which usually includes at least two U.S. submarines, was also apparently unable to detect it.
ComicMix and Grimjack
Never heard of this ComicMix site before but there is a good few comics online to read there and it’s pretty good stuff. I’m really enjoying this (apparently previously unseen) Grimjack comic.
Just two random golden age ‘Fantomah’ comics to brighten your day:
The giant spiders in this strip give me the creeps which this following Fantomah strip is just… odd, got to love that old-age sexism! Enjoy!
More Fox News Porn
Already talked about this here but this here is another clip of ‘Fox News Porn’:
The Worst Album of all Time?
Even though it only has 3 tracks online, just listen to this monstrosity from ‘Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band’. Basically just a handy way to rip-off the fans it is possibly the worst musical tracks I’ve ever heard…
Of special note is this song ‘Hulkster in Heaven‘ - supposedly written after Hogan was meant to meet some kid dying of cancer in Wembley Stadium but according to at least two friends of mine who are serious wrestling fans the story itself is absolute bullshit as Hogan had apparently retired (as much as he ever will actually ‘retire’) from wrestling by that stage and so couldn’t have been at the show where he ‘met’ this kid….
Also, horror of horrors, I just realised the album has a really hypnotic effect… it shuts down your brain functions as your listening to it…
Pryde of the X-Men
Apparently a first attempt to get the X-Men on tv in animated form. Not that bad surprisingly. ‘Love’ the terrible Aussie accent on Wolverine and the awful theme music though!

The Root of all Evil - Uncut Interview
Interesting interview here - the one thing I really like is how Dawkins comes across as a much more polite and reasonable person in these clips with Alister McGrath:
