Grant’s a very good writer and I have a lot of time for him politicaly – he and I share interest and broad similarities in the same beliefs/opinions. Anyway that piece was written just after 9/11 and it’s full of interesting ideas. The one I find most interesting is the theorizing on where Bin Laden’s loyalties actually lie – it would at least explain how they haven’t caught him.
