While I will agree with you that it probably wont be worse than other rap albums, I have to make clear two things: I despise rap in general with very limited exceptions and if Elton John actually wants to do something different I'd prefer if it was something completly different - not just someone unexpected (like him) doing a rap album which is the main form of popular music at the moment. ‘Ragnarok’ is the Norse mythology’s apocalypse… kinda like the Christian revelations.

What's so bad aboult Elton John doing a rap album? It couldn't be any worse than most other rap albums. At least the guy has a streak of musicality, unlike most rappers.
